The Story
Founded by American industrialist Gene Haas, the team entered Formula 1 in 2016 as the sport's first new constructor in several years.
Its model is deliberately different: Haas buys as many permitted components as possible from Ferrari and works with Dallara on chassis production, keeping headcount low.
Kevin Magnussen scored points on the team's debut in Australia, and Haas has since operated as a compact team fighting in the midfield.
